NewMexicoKidsCAN will focus on policy-making in support of its mission to provide every child with access to a quality education, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Key goals in its inaugural year will include improving teacher preparation programs, creating an alternate pathway for educators to obtain a Level III license, and ensuring every child has access to a high quality teacher.
“At NewMexicoKidsCAN, we believe education changes lives, and we will work to ensure that every child receives an education that prepares them to fulfill their potential,” Aragon said. “Our goal is for this to be a bipartisan effort that everyone in the community can embrace.”
